This privacy policy applies to all online services provided under the Alwyzon trading name by Hohl IT e.U., following named as "Alwyzon", "us" or "we".
What personal data do we process?
We save and use your personal data only to process your orders and to get in touch with you. The following types of data are processed by us:
- Billing Address and Contact Details: Any information provided during registration or through the customer panel. For example, we need your name, email address and billing address to issue invoices for tax purposes. We do not store any payment details, as the processing of these is outsourced to Stripe Payments Europe Limited.
- Server Logs: Whenever you visit our websites, we automatically store some information. This includes your IP address, type and version of the browser you use, time, date, website from which you come to our site. Your IP address is saved anonymized. You can then no longer be identified after the IP is anonymized.
If you order any services, your personal data has to be stored in accordance with Austrian tax law for 7 years after the cancellation of the last service. Storing and processing of your data is done in accordance with § 96 section 3 TKG and article 6 section 1 lit b of the GDPR.
Where do we process your data?
All data processing by us happens exclusively on our own servers which are located inside the European Union.
Who do we forward your data?
External service providers may have access to your data while they assist us in providing our services. In particular, the processing of payments is outsourced to the payment processor companies Stripe Payments Europe Limited and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., and the hCaptcha service by Intuition Machines Inc. is used to determine whether a website visitor is a malicious bot.
What are cookies and what do we use them for?
Cookies are small files that are stored on a users computer and can store different kinds of data. They are primarily used to temporarily store information about users, such as the content of the shopping cart or login credentials. Likewise, cookies can also be used to track a user's behavior by storing which websites the user visited and thus be used for marketing purposes.
We use cookies for all the above mentioned applications including marketing purposes. We use the open source software Matomo to analyze which parts of our websites our customers spend most time at, which services they seem most interested in, and how those customers found us. All information collected through Matomo is stored anonymously and is not linked to any personal data. We also do not share or sell this information. If you do not wish to share this information with us, you can opt out from this tracking at any time.
If you do not wish cookies to be stored on your computer at all, we ask you to deactivate the corresponding option in the settings of your browser. You can also delete stored cookies in the settings of your browser. However, if you do so, it will likely lead to problems when you try to use our websites. Your rights in connection with personal data
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data that we process. You can request such a copy at any time through our client area. Furthermore, you have the right to object to our data processing and a right for data portability. However, you cannot use some of our services if you do not provide your data to us. Your decision to provide us with your personal data is completely voluntary.
